Patient-Centered Care
Our goal is to provide exceptional pediatric care in a warm, nurturing environment. We believe every child and family is unique. Therefore, our approach is patient-centered, family-focused, and collaborative. We believe medical care is at its best when your child is seen by the same pediatrician as much as possible. That’s why we intentionally manage our practice growth so that we make sure your child’s care is coherent and well coordinated over time. We take the time to get to know each patient and their family and we understand there is an array of different parenting styles. By understanding your concerns and objectives, we support the whole health of your child while addressing your child and family’s unique needs.
Vaccines
We firmly believe that vaccinating children and young adults may be the single most important health-promoting intervention we perform as healthcare providers, and that you can perform as parents/caregivers. The recommended vaccines and the vaccine schedule are the results of years and years of scientific study and data gathering on millions of children by thousands of our brightest scientists and physicians. Please read more about this on our Immunizations page.
Antibiotics
We do not believe in overusing antibiotics as this can lead to bacterial or antibiotic resistance. Treating these bacteria can be difficult because certain bacteria have become resistant to even the most powerful antibiotics available today. We use antibiotics judiciously. Therefore, we generally do not call in an antibiotic prescription over the phone as this is not good medical practice.
